In the wake of the devastating floods in Vijayawada, our team came together to support the communities affected. We aimed not just to provide relief, but to empower individuals and inspire collective action.
A Lifeline for Those in Need: The Medical Camp
On September 15th 2024, we set up a medical camp in Vambay Colony, Singh Nagar—a community where many families are daily wage workers facing significant challenges. Interacting with residents, we also understood their situations and how they were affected by the floods.
With a team of 5 Doctors, including 3 pediatricians, 3 medical students and 30 dedicated volunteers, we reached out to 140 patients, including 50 children. Common health issues included skin rashes, fevers, colds, and malnutrition. We distributed essential medications according to the doctor prescriptions, ensuring that each individual felt valued and supported.

Spreading Warmth: The Cloth Donation Drive
In tandem with our medical efforts, we launched a cloth donation drive that drew an inspiring response. We collected over 500 kilograms of clothing, which we distributed to more than 600 individuals in Ajith Singh Nagar and surrounding communities.
Seeing families receive warm clothes was a testament to the impact of collective goodwill. With over 5,000 pieces donated and 15 enthusiastic volunteers, we brought comfort to many.
